Spring 2024 Baseball Divisions
Cal Ripken Baseball - Ages 4-12
| Division | Birthdate Range | Description |

| T-Ball | 4-5 years (5/1/18 to 4/30/20) | The primary goal of T-Ball is to begin to instruct young players in the fundamentals of baseball (hitting and fielding) in a supportive team environment. Athletes will bat through the lineup from a batting tee, which is height-adjusted for a level swing. |
| Rookie | 6-7 years (5/1/16 to 4/30/18) | This division makes use of coach pitching to allow for more hittable balls at the plate and more action in the field. Fear of being hit by a pitched ball is diminished. It makes the game safer and improves the playing confidence and ability of all participants. |
| Minor 8 | 8 years (5/1/15 to 4/30/16) | Ballplayers will continue to build on the skills learned in Rookie league. Players will begin to pitch with coaches stepping in to keep the game moving when needed. |
| Minor | 9-10 years (5/1/13 to 4/30/15) | Players build and refine their fundamental skills while beginning to understand game strategy and teamwork |
| Major 50/70 | 11-12 years 5/1/11 to 4/30/13 | Athletes will play on fields featuring a 50' pitching distance and 70' base paths. |

Babe Ruth Baseball - Ages 13-15

| Babe Ruth Baseball | 13-15 (5/1/08 to 4/30/11) | Founded in 1951, Babe Ruth Baseball League was created for ballplayers ages 13-15 who wished to continue their baseball playing experience beyond the age of 12. This is where players get their baseball cleats muddy for the first time on standard 90' diamonds under Official Baseball Rules used by Major League Baseball. |
