The East Fishkill Babe Ruth League (EFBRL) Travel program is an extension of the East Fishkill Babe Ruth Recreation League.  The two programs are designed to reinforce each other.

Overview
The East Fishkill Patriots travel baseball program was created to offer interested players the opportunity to play more baseball and develop their skills.  We have had a very successful program over the past few years with many of our teams winning multiple championships and tournaments.  

Two teams may be formed for each age group if there are enough players and coaches to do so.  If this happens there will be a team known as East Fishkill Patriots Blue and an additional developmental team known as East Fishkill Patriots Gray.  

Cal Ripken Tournament Trail

Our EF Patriots Blue team will represent East Fishkill Babe Ruth Baseball in the Cal Ripken District Championship Tournament trail each summer (like All-Stars).   Here they could advance through Districts, States, Regionals and possibly the World Series (like our 12U teams in 2019 and 2021!).   

The Travel Team Commitment
Practices and games will be scheduled by the manager of each individual team.  Most EF travel teams participate in the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons for the Greater Hudson Valley Baseball League which involves local travel to surrounding towns, typically within a one-hour radius. Teams also participate in weekend tournaments locally or in neighboring states.  All players should be available to play on weeknight and weekend days.  

Ongoing Play
Many teams choose to conduct winter workouts, play the spring season and then continue to play throughout the summer and fall season. This is at the discretion of the team manager and will be reviewed with parents.

Costs
There will be additional costs to play on these teams to cover items such as uniforms, gear, tournament and league fees.  The team manager will review these costs with you once your player's team placement is determined.
