Please read the important information below:

Coaches Needed for T-Ball and Rookie Divisions
Our league cannot run without our committed volunteer coaches.  While you are registering your child, please consider signing up to coach.  We need coaches to sign up as early as possible to make this a smooth process.  If you are interested in coaching but want to know more about what's involved, please e-mail us at EFBRLbaseball@gmail.com.

When Do We Play?

  • Opening Day is usually towards the beginning of April (once the town gives us the all clear to use the fields) and the season runs through mid-June.
  • Schedules will be available in late March/early April in the SportsEngine App as they cannot be set until we know how many players and teams we will have in each division.
  • Please note that because of the amount of teams we typically have each season and the limited number of fields in the town, baseball does not have set days for practices or games and therefore we cannot honor requests for practice or game days. You can typically expect to play 1-2 games per week in most weeks and they can be on a weeknight or weekend.
  • We strive for each team to play 10-12 games per season.  However, this is a sport played outside on dirt fields and the weather does not always cooperate.  We will make every attempt to reschedule rained out games but sometimes it is not possible due to coach, team and field availability.

Where do we play?

The Town of East FIshkill has multiple field locations that can be found here.  While teams could play at any of these locations, typically each division's primary fields are:

  • T- Ball:  East Fishkill Rec T-Ball Fields or Brettview
  • Rookie 6/7:  Lime Kiln Recreation or Brettview
  • Minor 8s:  Leetown
  • Minor 9/10:  East Fishkill Rec or Brettview
  • Major 11/12:  East Fishkill Rec or Brettview

What equipment do we need?

  • All players will need gray baseball pants, a baseball glove, bat and helmet.
  • Cleats are optional in the T-ball and Rookie leagues but necessary in Minor 8s and up.
  • A team jersey and hat will be provided by the league.

Registration Fees and Divisions
Your registration fee covers many different costs incurred by the League including: uniforms and hats; insurance; town fees for field usage; Cal Ripken charter fees; coach background checks; capital improvements to the baseball fields - many which were made this past year and more are planned this year; umpires (Minor 8s and up); field equipment; baseballs, and much more.
